Dr. Ng Chee Kwanobtained his medical degree from National University of Singapore in 1994, and postgraduate surgical qualifications from Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1999 and 2000. He underwent Advanced Surgical Training in Urology in Singapore, and upon completion in the year 2004, was appointed Associate Consultant at the Dept of Urology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. In the year 2005, he took up a fellowship programme in urologic cancer surgery at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He was appointed Consultant at the Dept of Urology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2006.

Dr Ng has extensive experience in minimally invasive urological procedures. His subspecialty interests include: surgery for urological cancers, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery including robotic surgery and single port surgery, and treatment of prostate problems and overactive bladder.

Currently, Dr Ng is Consultant Urologist and Director of CK Ng Urology & Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is a Visiting Consultant Urologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

His research interests include the epidemiology and detection of prostate cancer in Singapore, and novel treatments for advanced prostate cancer. He held a National Healthcare Group research grant on the role of antibiotic therapy in the management of patients with elevated serum PSA. He is actively involved in clinical trials of novel compounds for treatment of advanced prostate cancer.
