Dr. Kanika Chaudhurihas over twelve years experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Majority of her training has been in National University Hospital, Singapore. She completed her advanced specialist training under Joint Committee of Specialist Training, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Apart from being a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in UK, she is also a Fellow of Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Dr Kanika is a registered Colposcopist with ‘The Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore’.
Dr Kanika was previously a Clinical Lecturer and MBBS examiner at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Her research interests are Ovarian Cancer and Feto Maternal Medicine. She was awarded the Clinical Research Leadership award from NUS during her tenure at National University Hospital. She has numerous publications in international journals. She also serves as a reviewer on peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Kanika looks after general Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients with special interest in high risk pregnancy and early pregnancy care. She is an expert in treating Gynaecological complaints such as heavy periods, pain during menstruation, irregular periods and menopause. She offers holistic care to her patients by assisting them in making informed decisions. To her, patients always come first. She believes in handholding every patient during their hours of need. Her patients compliment her highly and consult her for all their Gynaecological concerns.
