Dr. Melvin EE Hock Leongspecializes in aesthetic dermatology, skin cancers, Mohs micrographic surgery and laser surgery in addition to general dermatology.

Dr Ee was formerly the Chief of the Skin Cancer Clinic and Mohs micrographic surgical service at the National Skin Centre (NSC), where he pioneered and established the Mohs micrographic surgical services in Singapore. Dr Ee also practiced as a dermatological and laser surgeon in the Laser and Dermatologic Surgery Unit at the NSC. Prior to setting up Dermatology and Surgery Clinc, he was Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon at Specialist Skin Clinc and Associates.

Dr Ee graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sheffield, UK, in 1998. He subsequently attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001, and FAMS (Dermatology) in 2006 following advanced subspecialty training in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancers, skin surgery, lasers and aesthetic dermatology at the reputable St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and Lister Hospital, London, UK.

On top of his clinical work, Dr Ee has published extensively and has been invited to present at scientific meetings both locally and internationally. Dr Ee had been actively involved in teaching medical students at the National University of Singapore and continues to be involved in the teaching of fellow doctors.

He currently continues to run training courses for aesthetic procedures and is an appointed course instructor for the Dermatological Society of Singapore. For his efforts he has been awarded National Healthcare Group (NHG) Clinical Excellence for Teaching award, Best Registrar Award and the best paper presentation at 2nd Skin of Colour Symposium, San Francisco, USA.

Dr Ee is member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery and a conferred Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), Royal College of Physicians (Edinburg), Academy of Medicine, Singapore and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

  1. First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not
    mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
    I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
    I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any
